Grace Polan uses a 20-by-14-foot sunroom of her Bethesda home as a vital room, TV room and place to entertain. The stream furnishings are left over from a prior home, though, and don’t fit a some-more casual, outdoorsy feel she would like. She prefers neutrals and dark blues and greens. The radio contingency stay, and she doesn’t wish window treatments. (The potion has been treated to cut down on glisten and fading.)

Designer Emily Baker creates a building devise that allows entrance from all of a entries to a room while still providing adequate seating. She takes tone impulse from a perspective and designs a space to act as a visible transition to a yard and pool over a windows.

Large plants, such as fiddle-leaf figs, naturally filter a atmosphere and supplement tone to a space. Add a console next a radio for storage and to emanate a clever focal point. High-gloss color, such as Rarified Air from Sherwin-Williams, on a roof is a curtsy to a Southern tradition of a blue porch ceiling. An upholstered ottoman adds seating and softens a design. A vast tray on tip allows it to do double avocation as a place to reason drinks while entertaining. Use a reduction of lighting, including roof fans, list lamps and building lamps. Paint a walls a soothing white to make a room feel bright. Try Westhighland White from Sherwin-Williams.
