Taste for Literacy
Every year a Taste for Literacy draws a outrageous crowd. The event—which takes place this Sunday, Oct. 16—raises supports to buy books and account programs during a Crestline library.

Join a Crestline Friends of a Library this Sunday, Oct. 16, for a eighth annual Taste for Literacy.
Sixteen purveyors will offer a ambience of their specialties during a San Moritz Lodge. Included this year are Thousand Pines Conference Center, Goodwin’s Market, Oak Trunk, Toni’s Kitchen, California Parks, Roadhouse Pizza, Stockade, The Bear House, Tudor House, Lake Gregory Coffee House, Hortencia’s during a Cliffhanger, Stone Creek Bistro, The Hungry Bear Deli Bakery, 2 Moms and Some Food, Crestline Café, and Chef Cindy’s Café.
All deduction from a eventuality go to a Crestline library for a summer reading module and for a squeeze of books, periodicals, party and educational DVDs and other special programs during a library.
In further to a food, there will be 8 themed baskets that will be won in an eventuality drawing. There will also be a wordless auction that includes a list flare from Country Furniture, a baby quilt, a Christmas tree dress and artistic equipment donated by members of a Mountain Arts Network gallery.
Because an endeavour of this bulk requires some-more manpower than a members of a Friends can provide, a Lake Gregory Yacht Club helps out during a event.
Tickets might be purchased in allege during a Crestline library for $30 or during a doorway for $35.
Lake Gregory Recreation Company has done an in-kind concession of parking so there will be no price for parking during a event, that takes place from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
