Fans of crisp, complicated design and clean-lined shapes will adore one of this fall’s strongest character trends: faceted décor.

For those who feel that a whole bold, geometric-pattern thing is impending overexposure, faceted seat and prints make sense, according to New York engineer Elaine Griffin.

“Purer and streamlined, a faceted conformation is a stylistic descendent of geometrics — consider geometrics deconstructed,” she says.
